*(updated holiday rain total)
Last day of 2015 and it turned out to be pretty nice, especially seeing some sunshine after all our rain this holiday. Starting December 23 through New Years Eve, I've measured 6.98"*of rain here at the end of Staymon. After our bout of steady rain Wednesday morning, I took a time-lapse movie looking north, which you can watch by clicking the link below:

Temperatures will be getting back to normal now, and the polar jet stream looks to be making a bigger shift our way by January 13-15. That will mean even colder air, and as the time nears I'll be curious as to any precipitation systems that might visit at the same time. Saturday Jan. 16 just might be our first snow (?!?). Until then, we'll enjoy our trouble-free travels as it relates to weather.
Happy New Year to all y'all!
Bob
