VOLUNTEER CLEAN-UP DATE!

(message from Keith Patton, president ACHOA)

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!  :-)

WHEN:  Thursday, September 19
TIME:  9am
WHERE: @ Apple Creek Rd. and Staymon Rd.

This Thursday morning, any willing and abled bodies are asked to meet at the base of Staymon Road, on the flat across from Keith Patton's home.  Please bring whatever you can in the way of weedeaters, pruners, shovels, limb trimmers, etc.  Once assembled, we'll prioritize those areas along Apple Creek Road that need attention; hopefully, in about 3 hours, we can knock out a lot of clean-up work that ultimately saves the association money.  Too, winter isn't that far away, so this work will help greatly in being prepared as we head into our winter season.

Thanks in advance for those that can make it and give of their time.

Late-season Wildflowers

We sure have had some wonderful weather of late, here...cool mornings, pleasant afternoons, and drier conditions all around the board.  It's been a while since I've posted some pics from ACA; getting a bit late for the wildflower season, but there are plenty of hearty plants hanging in there.

Also, the new ACA board is now in place, and the minutes from their first meeting can be found on the post just before this one - please read them over if you haven't already.
