IMPORTANT UPDATE: HOA MEETING 8-14-21

Unusual dawn 7-30-21...this was the only color due to heavy cloud cover and light showers that moved in.  A nice contrast to the usual postcard  view, eh?! Click to enlarge.

Folks, this has NOTHING to do with  ACHOA...only our meeting space for the Annual ACHOA meeting August 14, 2021.

Due to the inflammation of COVID cases due to the Delta variant, there is now an edict in place for all Haywood County public buildings that MASKS MUST BE WORN INDOORS.  This includes the HAYWOOD COUNTY LIBRARY.  For our HOA meeting, you will need to wear a mask, WHETHER YOU HAVE BEEN VACCINATED OR NOT.

If you do not wish to attend because of this mandate, place make sure someone has your voting proxies.  I repeat, this has nothing to do with our HOA, so directing any complaints to our volunteers at the door will be wasted energy.  Please be respectful.

On a side note, I wanted to add a personal note about the 'mirror curve' above the double hairpins.  I have on several occasions, stared at that mirror as I approach it, only to make the turn and be face to face with a car.  There are proven blind spots...all that to say, if you meet someone on that single track by the hedge, the person nearest a driveway should back up so all can pass safely. I'm not aware of any serious issues...I just wanted to say that the mirror itself is limited information, so proceed with caution each time.

I still can't believe it's already into the second week of August....
