SIGNS AND MOTHER ELK LOVE...
Methinks a lot of us can remember our mothers licking a tissue to rub something off our faces when were young...I know mine did, and I did not care for it! :-) A few weeks ago in Cataloochee Valley, I was out photographing elk. While a crowd was watching the harem master, a 5/5 bull, I turned a very different direction to watch a mama elk clean and preen her progeny. It's a mother thing...and a beautiful sight.
